Research @CBC

Research in Christian Theology is not only valuable in itself, but is often a valuable gift to the church as well as the academic community.

 

Through two partnerships, CBC offers supervised research in the main theological areas.

 

Cardiff University is a large, research-intensive university with many courses available to support researchers in developing the skills needed. You would have a supervisor from Cardiff University as well as a supervisor from CBC.

 

IBTS is an international Baptist research community, based in Amsterdam which works with the Vrije Universiteit. The research community comes together twice a year for research symposia where students present their work and learn from experts. IBTS is particularly focussed on three areas: Identity, Mission, and Practice. You would have a supervisor at IBTS as well as a supervisor from CBC.
