Helen Dare

Helen is the minister at Broad Haven Baptist Church in Pembrokeshire, where she lives with her husband and son. Helen maintained her links with the College after doing her ministerial formation here and, having been a trustee and pastoral tutor in the past, was appointed as half-time biblical studies tutor in September 2022. These days, Helen seems to spend large amounts of her time trying to answer the question 'Why?' to an inquisitive child, but in other moments has a particular interest in the ways in which Baptist communities engage with the Bible. This was the subject of her PhD and er Whitley Lecture in 2014.
